Two high school pitchers tied for the best velocity recorded in Oregon in 2021 measured by Trackman technology. Both pitchers return to high school competition this spring. Jesuit HS Left hander Nelson Keljo, 6-4, 212 registered a series of 94 mph readings during his Junior year in 2021. The Jesuit ace returns for the Crusaders in 2022
Paul Wilson, another southpaw from Lake Oswego's Lakeridge HS returns for his Junior campaign this spring after reaching 94 mph repeatedly last spring and summer. Wilson is 6-3, 195 and has met every MLB scout in the country.
Both pitchers are poised to lead their teams to an Oregon 6A championship.
Nelson Keljo is the number 1 ranked player in Oregon in the 2022 class. Paul Wilson is the number 1 ranked player in Oregon for the 2023 class.
Keljo has signed with Oregon State. Wilson is committed to Oregon State.
Isaac Hill, a right-hander from Grants Pass - Hidden Valley HS was third in Oregon, recording 89 mph. Hill sits on 88-89 and has touched 90 on the Stalker guns. Hill is a 6-2, 188 Senior that will play his final prep season this spring. He signed with Oregon State and is a member of the touted Beaver class of 2022. Hill has been ranked 1st or second in the Oregon 2022 rankings for 3 years.
In Washington, Gibson Marshall-Inman is a 6-6, 190 right hander From Edmonds-Woodway HS that is rapidly developing into a dominant prep pitcher. A relative newcomer to the mound, "Gibby" has seen his velo rapidly escalate from the low 80's to a Trackman measured 88 mph. Marshall Inman is athletic (hooper), long and has an incalculable ceiling. His velocity projections are "heavy up".
Marshall-Inman signed with Oregon State and is a member of the 2022 class.
