Sounds like Ryan Speshyock is going to decommit from Oregon State and attend Stanford. His Perfect Game profile currently states that he is uncommitted.

An unavoidable loss. Stanford admission is a lengthy process - he's been working on this for a while and once accepted he decommitted. Stanford's All American OF Brian Jones was a similar scenario. In both cases, OSU was the fall back program. Every program faces the same issue - if Stanford comes calling, you cross your fingers. One of the great Universities in the World, no shame in finishing second in that race. Ryan is a special kid, we should wish him well until we have the opportunity to knock him out of the box sometime down the road at Goss or Sunken.
