North Dakota State destroys Montana State to win another FCS national championship, its 9th. I think Oregon dodged a bullet when its 2020 game against the Bison was canceled; Lance was a much better QB than Shough and it would not have surprised me to see NDSU win that game. If i were an FCS coach, I'd kick my AD's a** if he ever scheduled them.
Feeling a little better about our 2022 game with MSU, even though their QB was hurt today and that had to impact them.

Arizona scheduled NDSU for the 2022 season. This will likely be a loss for Arizona as NDSU is a football machine.

NDSU is talking about moving up to FBS, so it may not be an issue for much longer. I was rooting for the Bobcats, but they had little chance, and even less without their Tebow like QB.

There is just no geographically-convenient FBS league for NDSU to join. Even if the MWC kicked out Hawaii and added NDSU as a 12th full-time member the travel costs would probably even out. NDSU doesn't fit with the MAC, Sun Belt or CUSA.

for football only, it probably works. They are in the Summit for everything else. The Summit is North Dakota, both South Dakotas, Oral Roberts, Omaha, KC, Denver, Western Illinois and now St. Thomas. The Tommies were a D3 powerhouse, catholic school, from Minneapolis. Their league basically kicked them out for being too successful. The locals are thinking they are there for about five years and then will be invited into the Big East.
