Any update on the 40 man roster? I see that the OSU website still shows 43 players. I seem to recall in years past not finding out until the game notes were published on game day, and even then I think it was another day or two until we found out who the last cuts were. |

Anyone have any updates on the three guys that chose not to return this year but still had eligibility left, Ryan Ober, Joe Casey, and Kyler McMahan. Still playing anywhere or did they essentially retire?

Joe is coaching at one of the Bend high schools, I think, and may be student teaching. McMahan doesn't show up on anyone's roster and is still in the OSU student registry so maybe he's done with baseball. The roster is not finalized until Friday. |

Roster reduction: For starters, Reed is redshirting while rehabbing. That makes it 42.

I don't believe Reed can be off the 40 unless he's giving up a schollie...all guys getting a schollie have to be on the 40...

40 names listed on the GameTracker site, the four missing are Tyree Reed, Hunter Cope, Cole Nelson, and Joey Mundt.

Joey Mundt isn't on it...huge surprise there, injury?
Cole Nelson not on it
Reed either...must have been wrong about him not being able to count...that's nice to save another roster spot
