Charleston RiverDogs of the South Atlantic League to the Tampa Yankees of the Florida State League - In June and July, Jeff was 38 for 89; .427, with 8 doubles, 1 triple and 15 BB's. I'm not sure what the injury is/was but he was also twice place on the injured list during this time frame.

Thank God. Charleston is a horrendous place.

I've never been there. I've read some of the Pat Conroy novels and they make me want to visit.

Think ungodly humidity and bugs. Big bugs. A lot of them. Every corner has a baptist church and a waffle house. The humidity was oppressive. Every time I opened the car door to get out, my glasses fogged.

The architecture is superb. The economy is built on slavery - still. A lot of tours of old slave plantations. The tours are spendy.
