Baseball News revealed their rankings for 2022. Oregon State came in at 42 which is 5th in the PAC 12. Ranked ahead of the Beavers are
5. Stanford
18. UCLA
21. Oregon
22. Arizona
42. Oregon State

The D-1 Baseball detailed "Fall Report" on OSU came out on 12/17 (author, Mike Rooney). D-1 BB certainly respected the pitching staff: "The Oregon State projected rotation (Cooper Hjerpe, Jake Pfennigs, and Will Frisch) may end up being the best starting group on the West Coast...."
The overall article was not up to snuff imho. For example, even though a dozen pitchers are named, A.J. Lattery is ignored. He may have been little used last season (but he was effective) and he had a very good summer. Plus (and I'm fuzzy on this) I believe he saw some meaningful Fall action.
