The PAC 12 suffered from two issues.
First, the classes tended to be smaller overall in numbers.
Second, they weren't very star heavy (talented).
Stanford had the #1 ranked class but only ranked 15th nationally with 247 Sports and 17th with Rivals. Then you drop down all the way to 37th with Utah.
Number 1 Texas A&M had five 5-Star recruits alone.
oregon was 9th pre-Cristobol and 43rd post-Cristobol.
Beavs were #53 with Rivals and 7th in the PAC-12.
