Probably one of the last things they do will be to brick that side. They will bring a lift onto the concourse or erect scaffolding between the 2nd and 3rd decks to finish the job. Right now it would just get in the way. I doubt it...based on the renderings and wy not do it when the towers were the 'main thing. You are correct. The renderings (and the construction documents) show the brick cladding not fully wrapping the concrete towers. The brick masons’ work scope appears complete.

Yes, unfortunately there do not appear to be any plans to do anything with those concrete towers facing the field. They look bad in the renderings and worse in person. They are already developing stains from the rain water streaking down the face of them. Not sure why you wouldn't hide those columns or cover them with something. Maybe paint them or add banners to hide them a bit. It's clearly a cost move, but I think they could have been more creative with their limited brick budget. Also, still don't get why you use dark gray for the press box facade and not white to match the East side, you would think they would want to tie the stadium together, not make the two sides look like they were built in different eras.

How about some big ass planters with Virginia creeper growing up and adhering? If vegetation works for the Cubs, why not us? Parthenocissus Quinquefolia trips on the tongue, why not up the concrete monoliths?

Extend the upper decks that would hide some concrete face. I know, I know, that won't happen as we don't want cheap seats. My bad.

Also Scott Barnes Said the stadium would be done in the month of June. Seems like they are a bit behind. I hope its done by the end of August.

They built in a buffer - which was fortunate given supply chain issues.

I’m willing to bet that the stadium will be finished up a week before the 1st home game of the season. If there is anything to learn, it’s that construction schedules are NEVER on time at Oregon State. (For example the scoreboard upgrade last year!)

It's been more than a year and they still have not completed the new driveway and traffic signal project on Walnut Boulevard near old Hoover School. The Student Health Center was turned over to Good Sam in May, just as scheduled. Not sure how anyone here knows if they are on schedule, or behind schedule. It's still almost six weeks until the end of June.

I was making a point.

Maybe we can all wait until June to judge or complain about the project if it’s not done off with their heads. After the first kickoff who really cares when it got done. Just plan plenty of time to get into Corvallis with the Van Buren bridge project starting and reconstruction on Ne Circle Blvd( Hwy 99 to Hwy 20) just be patient for the six times you visit town.

As of 18:13 PDT, on a Friday night, I see six people working in the video feed.

VBS bridge construction should not impact your entry into Corvallis. Leaving, however, will be a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

The only capacity I have found listed for the new stadium was in an old Olive article and it was a quote from Barnes stating something to the effect it would between 34 and 39k when completed.
Well that seems like a rather wild range to guess about and how is a much more approximate number not known going in? Maybe this has been asked and answered already somewhere in this massively long thread, if not, does anyone know of a more concrete seating capacity number after the new side is completed?
