Ok, you construction experts. That is a very large crane on-site. Maybe more than 200-feet tall? The contractor had a very nice about 2-week window for dirt work but it looks like that window got closed. But I still see them loading some more native material to take away. Anyone know where all that dirt is being placed?

Looks like maybe an elevator shaft going in the right foundation hole?

I gotta ask, what is with the black tarps? Are they laying it down to keep the dirt dry? Or they using it to put new dirt on it?

Keep rain out to prevent saturation and runoff, and retain current moisture so you don't need to bring in extra water for compaction.

Keeps the gravel they lay down from sinking into the mud under the weight of the concrete trucks etc.
Busy bunch of Beavers aren't they!!

Boy, they picked a iffy spot for that pumper. It’s gunna be tricky for those mixers backing all the way down to them. Hopefully the mixers don’t get stuck in that soft black clay dirt.

Gravel is your friend there..If necessary, they can lay down a 3 or 4 inch 'roadway' to that pumper so no concrete trucks get stuck in the mud..

They just used one of the excavators to help the pumper back out.

Why is the field blacked out on cam? Is it like that for anyone else? Are they gunna do something with the field that they don’t want to viewers to see?
