Reflecting on the void left in WBB by the 2020 recruiting class (Goforth, etc))....compared to the USE-THEM-ALL class of 2021 (TVO, Kampschroeder, Marotte) I stumbled onto the 2021 UW Husky recruiting class - to compare the two 2021 recruiting classes (OSU / UW), a few weeks B4 the PAC-12 season.
UW has: Davis / Van Sickle / Finney (all top 100 Hoop Gurlz).
So far this 2021-22 season: Davis, 2 games played for 3 minutes total. Finney, 1 game played for 1 minute.
Van Sickle has not played: (12/12 twitter post from a WBB blogger) "5-10 FR point guard, Avery Van Sickle, Castle Rock, CO has entered her name into the portal, out of Washington WBB; she was ranked in the top 100 in the 2021 recruiting class"

There's also Olivia Pollerd from Australia, who has played slightly more than Davis. Finney was an early enrolee like TVO last season, although she didn't have much impact.
Coach Langley had to re-recruit this bunch...just to not use them at all? Most of the veterans just aren't very good, can't see her being in a win at all costs this year mode, I'm not sure why she isn't trying to develop some of the youngsters with an eye to the future. If she didn't want any of these players, she could've easily let them walk when she got the HC position. I don't really understand what's happening on Montlake so far this year.
