The bad news - The 3 seniors accounted for 19 of the team total 39 goals (49%).
The potential good news - assuming underclassmen return - our entire defense/back line could return, with an additional season of growth and skill development.
If we can replace the scoring from some combination of existing and new players, we could be very, very good again next season. That’s not too much to ask, is it?
P.S. One final 2021 factoid. 0 red cards for OSU this season.

Are all of those "Seniors" out of eligibility?
I never know because of the COVID year, who is a "Senior" by eligibility or because they were a Junior already.

Are all of those "Seniors" out of eligibility? I never know because of the COVID year, who is a "Senior" by eligibility or because they were a Junior already. Since two MSOC seasons were played in the 2021 calendar year, I presumed that all the listed Seniors were on their last go-round. Here’s the other thing to ponder. The last seasons national player of the year, Amanda was a junior. Imagine if he had decided to come back this season to play his remaining year of eligibility? Do you think that might’ve helped a championship run just a little? |

His backup this season was Roman Gabriel from Corvallis High, who played well when Fernandez was hurt some in 2020. We should be OK at keeper next year.
