Last survivor of easy company dies

Edward Shames passed away December 3rd, the last man from easy company from which band of brothers was based. Incredible story in his obit. When easy took hitler’s eagles nest Edward took some bottles of cognac labeled for fuhrer’s use only from hitler’s private collections and took them home and served them at his son’s bar mitzvah. Pay back bitches. They don’t make them like that anymore.
