Pat Fitzgerald Jay Norvell Brady Hoke Pretty sure Duck fans saw enough of Hoke as their DC to say no thanks on that one.

Apparently uo wants to talk to Kilani Sitake at BYU. It would be quite entertaining if they hired an ex-OSU Def Coord that oversaw one of the worst defenses in OSU history, who then proceeds to hire his self described "brother" CGA as an assistant.

Sitake is a better coach than he showed here. Highly doubt he would leave BYU, but maybe enough $$ changes his mind. No way in hell he has anything to do with GA. Sitake couldn't wait to get out of Corvallis to get away from him.

Nothing against Sitake, but is that all the higher they’re aiming? Not to mention he’s done well with the hard nosed athletes at BYU but I don’t envision him relating well to the primadonna types that UofO attracts. Just my opinion.

I could see Lane Kiffin coming to the Oregon. Wouldn't be surprised if his coaching endgame is Alabama. He has shown he can win in the SEC, so he moves out of conference 3-5 years, waits for Saban to retire. Not so much bad blood from Ole Miss when he returns. Uses the Oregon job as a stepping stone.
I find it funny that the article and source it quotes say Phil Knight is looking for a head coach. I think that removes Chipper from consideration, because he didn't like reporting to Knight on a weekly basis. Don't think he wants to return. Plus Chipper would be fighting his own mythology; he goes 35-13 in Eugene and the "fan" base will sneer that he has lost it.

ducks need an offensive minded coach and a QB.
Is it a coincidence Bronco Mendenhall resigned from Virginia a week ago. Virginia was ACC leader in total offense and Virginia's QB was passing leader with over 400yrd per game average? Is it a further coincidence the ducks have BYU on the schedule next year?
I'm not sure which it is right now, but I think Bronco either really wants to beat his beloved BYU bad for letting him go, or he wants to show them they made a mistake and would ultimately like to have his dream job back. The ducks could provide that opportunity for him whether it's the former or latter.

I think Chip would regret taking that job. The expectations put on him to repeat what he did before are going to be extremely difficult for him to live up to.

The fact the ducks are asking permission to talk to him when they could certainly go through agents without the need for permission, tells me they want something in the news to buy time, probably because a prior target just backed out of negotiations. Putting the possibility of a CK hire in the news cycle seems like an attempt to stem some of the bleeding, their recruits are decommitting daily.

Something Miami overlooked with Cristoballs

Would not shock us if that were true because his return to Hole makes little sense.

Would not shock us if that were true because his return to Hole makes little sense. They did Sitake for title ix, or whatever, and two former ducks for the fans, but that's probably the extent of it. Kelly and Wilcox are a combined 44-53 at their current jobs. Hard to imagine anyone being happy with either of those hires.
