Joe Brady, just let go as OC of Carolina Panthers. He was the OC at LSU under ED O. Coached Joe Burrow to probably best offensive season in college football history and a Heisman. This is something I might be afraid of.

This is something I might be afraid of. Joe Burrow was IMO the best QB I've ever seen play college football. Justin Jefferson, Jamarr Chase, Clyde Edwards Helaire, Terrace Marshall, most of the OLine. That is an NFL offense...a damn good one. Oregon is lucky to have two or three guys at that level at once

Well, why don't you start a thread. A quick scan shows that you haven't started any conversations lately. If you don't like the conversation, be the one to pick a new one. It is pretty lame to only complain and never have a solution or alternative. All that said, I think the money odds REALLY are with them going after Kelly. There is nobody left internal, and stars of past aren't looking that hot... Scott Frost, his star is pretty sullen now. I have to chuckle with Oregon being on the back end of the coaching shuffle, the good ones are getting scooped up. Are the hot names from the USC list still up for grabs? Franklin? Fickell? is Oregon high profile enough for them? I doubt it. I think they go hard for Kelly, if not him, they are going after a hot OC. Franklin just got an extension from Penn State Fickell is coaching in the playoffs - and I have read that he is a "Midwest guy". Just fan board talk, but I see lots of push back against a Chip Kelly return. Justin Wilcox name has popped up, but again there are fan board posters that do not like that choice. Have no clue what is next - except that Cristobal is gone and he likely takes 3 assistant coaches with him (maybe more). Yippee, my team is 10-3. Somehow this fan is feeling a bit traumatized by the a$$ kicking delivered by the Utes TWICE!! And now big time changes for the program. Add the fun stuff that other Pac12 fan bases are watching - which are the decommits from recruiting classes and transfer portal options for players on the team. Kinds feels like "Yippee" is not exactly the right word for this Duck fan.

I’ve heard Peterson’s name dropped. I wouldn’t put it past Uncle Phil to get someone like Urban Meyer. That would be my first choice, if I were him.

How would he be able to make a stop at his restaurant? All joking aside, Uncle Phil doesn’t have long before he won’t be able to play with all his money anymore. So who is a good candidate to get the team into the CFP? Someone who has been there before and won it. What’s more, Meyer has nothing to prove to anyone. He’s not gonna go run off to Florida. Plus, if you tell the recruits Meyer is in charge, they’ll stay put. I think Phil should call him up.

Pat Fitzgerald Jay Norvell Brady Hoke Norvell just took the CSU gig, which is weird since its a lateral move and Nevada has been better than CSU for a while. But CSU does have a shiny new stadium to recruit to Mackie Stadium is a poor man's Parker circa 1984. CSU also has the better shot to get in a P5 conference...albeit marginally

Who knows. But, sure enough Urban's ethics fits the uck/Uncle Phil's program!

They'll kick the tires on Dava Aranda, Luke Fickell, and end up with someone like Georgia's DC. Kiffin or Chip would be idiotic, so I hope they do it.

I checked out one of the hole boards. It seems that the top three FWIW are Chipper - Wilcox - Kiffin and as a throw in Deion Sanders. Hell - why not Snoop Dog? He like football - would be a solid fit. I seriously doubt any duck fans want Wilcox. Jon Wilner is a troll.
