6-1 only loss to huskys of coneticut. Sasha playing a lot.
But several good freshman. High game 17 but blocking lots of shots and avg 10 points a game. Deep group. Watch her play tommarow against California, we miss her defense.

If we're not playing Arkansas I have no interest in what their players are doing. |

Was just about to post almost the exact thoughts, Werebeaver. I didn't care about the Arkansas team when Destiny played there, and I don't care about them now when Sasha's playing for them. To me, Sasha is most like the blue chip player we recruited, and it looked pretty good for a while, and we all got our hopes up on this board, and then she committed elsewhere. Or the highly ranked in state recruit who goes elsewhere - I didn't care what Evina Westbrook did at Tennessee, and don't care what she does at Connecticut. I wouldn't care about how Cameron Brink is doing except that she's in the PAC 12.
Sasha's gone; so is my interest in her day to day career. I wish her a long, happy, successful life, and I bear her no malice. But I have zero interest in hearing anything about that successful life.

Sasha has started every game, but is struggling shooting this year. All starters are scoring in double figures. They do have a lot of young talent, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out for them. I expect some will transfer out in the next couple years. If you haven't heard, Saylor Poffenbarger is transferring to Arkansas. I REALLY want the Beavs to play Arkansas and beat them!

Samuel with WVa: 6 games, 15.5 minutes pg, 4.3 pts per game, .440 FG%, .250 3 Pt%. Last season's first 6 games as a Beaver, she averaged 13.8 minutes per game. That being said, it would have been good to see how Anaya James would have done yesterday had Savannah been available (not to mention transition D). |

She gave birth last week to a little boy who did not live very long due to a birth defect. |

It points out the wisdom of Rueck carrying a less than max. number of player roster. In the world of 4* and 5* recruits there is only so much to go around - unless, like 42.7 miles south (via Monroe, Oregon) the injury bug strikes hard. |
