This was my favorite paragraph of the breakdown of our game vs. Clemson:
So the team that finishes better, controls the middle of the field, and doesn't screw in the the back while also being more physical will win? NO WAY.
Other than learning the names of some Clemson players and that it's been a pretty successful program over the years, I don't think this gave me any real insight into how the game will go.
The tournament blueprint for OSU has seemed to be a three step process:
Come out aggressive and get an early goal because few teams have the backline to match our attacking speed Play keep away from the other team for the next 80 minutes Let the crossbar save a goal or two for you Avoid giving the opponents a corner kick at all costs because our tiny players can't compete in the air.

In the last game, it appeared that both teams lucked out of what *should* have been a goal. Their crossbar shot/rebound in the first half, and our weak left foot shot from 5 feet away that allowed their goalie the easy save.

Slightly better than 'the team with more goals will likely win.'
He also called Gloire Amanda 'Gloire Armada' which would be, IMO, a cool as hell name.

I laughed at that too.
Amanda is playing for Klagenfurt in the Austrian Bundesliga. Not getting a lot of playing time (hasn't played in the last four matches at all). Has one goal and the team sits 4th in the table.
