Well, Kinda. I delightfully watched the mallard massacre and had some thoughts. First thing I noticed was I couldn't tell the difference between the uo logo and their score. Secondly, I don't believe they've ever had a good place kicker. Hard to believe with all the big recruits they get. Thirdly, when ogre_n failed on 3rd down before the half there was 11 seconds left and running. Sean McDumba said that they were out of time outs and would just let the clock run (no idea why he would say that and followed it up with something more absurd) ----> but Whittingham still has time outs and may stop it if he wanted to be greedy... ARE YOU *&^%$# kidding me?!?!?!? Is Nike paying part of his salary? What a dolt! Fourthly, after the announcers talked about North champ scenarios if the cougars end up winning the North maybe they shouldn't be lumped in with Cal and Colorado. I'm guilty of pre judging them. Probably out of jealousy :-)

Especially on the tv.

Especially on the tv. I want to play Utah again. The last time that Oregon State played the same team twice in one year: 1956. Oregon State lost to Iowa 14-13 at Iowa and then got trounced in the Rose Bowl 35-19. The last time that Oregon State beat the same team twice in one year: 1945. Oregon State beat Oregon in Corvallis 19-6 in October and then beat Oregon in Eugene 13-12 in December. Oregon State cobbled together a schedule 27 days after V-J Day that included a home-and-home with Washington State, Oregon and Washington, home games against Camp Beale and Idaho and a road trip to USC. The Beavers swept the Ducks, split with the Huskies and were swept by the Cougars. Beating Washington in Seattle was quite the feat. As a "Navy" school, the Huskies did not suspend operations during World War II, like "Army" schools like Idaho, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State.
