Nemec now thinks class of 2023 4-star 6'5" QB Brayden Dorman is a "near lock" to come to OS: Here is his subscriber only recruiting article just posted on O-Live this evening:

The Oregon State Beavers hosted a deep, talented collection of recruits over the weekend for their 24-10 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Frankly, the recruiting results were even better than those on the field.
On Monday afternoon, Louisville safety transfer Bralyn Oliver announced his commitment to the Beavers.
But it sounds like he won’t be the only player who commits to Oregon State in the near future.
Multiple recruits left impressed by Jonathan Smith’s program, the game day atmosphere and the city of Corvallis.
In fact, the buzz is so loud right now that I anticipate a few more pledges stemming from this weekend.
The only question is: “When?”
I’ll have several visitor stories this week, but multiple Oregon State fans have reached out via email and social media in search of an update on class of 2023 four-star quarterback Brayden Dorman, the nation’s No. 12 signal-caller.
The reason I haven’t had an in-depth story yet is that he’s still in Oregon visiting family in Medford and has asked to wait on interviews until he returns home.
But we chatted Monday evening for a bit, and the conversation will be music to Oregon State fans ears.
He said he loved his visit and that it exceeded expectations. He then reiterated that he came into the visit saying that Oregon State “checked all of the boxes” and he wanted to see it in person.
Now that Dorman has seen Corvallis for himself, he explained that he will not be visiting any other schools and plans to make a college commitment in the near future.
All signs point to “Dorman to Oregon State” being a near-lock at this point.
Oregon State is trending up on the recruiting trail, and the Oregon State-Arizona State weekend looks like it is going to be one to remember for a long time.
