Officially out of the bowl picture. USC losing gives the conference only 6 eligible teams assuming Cal doesn’t sweep their last 3 games. Even with a loss, the Trojans could sweep their last two (BYU and California) and get to bowl eligibility, as well. If USC loses, the Pac-12 gets no more than seven. That could still be eight, if USC manages to come back on UCLA. Bowl profits gets split equally, so it would make financial sense to root for the Trojans.

BYU @ USC and Cal @ UCLA will have bowl implications next Saturday. If both win, the finale will probably be for a bowl spot.

Doesn’t matter if a lower ranked team gets in.
