Just to make everyone feel better Samford is predicted to finish 9th out of 10 teams in the ultra powerful Southern conference.

As I stated before 8 - 10 wins. This is a very weak poorly coached team. Thompson was the only real player last year even through several of others stepped up. Thompson is gone. I am not a Tinkle fan and I don't think he is a good coach although last year's run was fantastic and I happily ate my hat. Thompson was the only player who you wanted to have the ball at the end of the game and could create for himself. Thompson is gone and so is the offense. Defense is so baad that a 3rd grade team could score on an inbound play. I'm not sure if Lucas knows how to play "Defense"

Jeez. We are only 3+ games into the season. Did last season teach us nothing?.. Let the season play out a bit.. have some patience Well, 4 games into the season, we've guaranteed ourselves the the only way we make the NCAA tournament is to win the Pac-12 tournament, as our NET score is now buried. Maybe we'll make a conference tourney run again, but that's a very tall order - and we'll need to finish higher in the conference this year to avoid a 4th game as UA isn't ineligible for the postseason this year. These games matter if you have any postseason aspirations via at an at-large berth. I thought we had turned a corner last season where we learned how to win games, and we are instead losing in a variety of ways. Tonight was perhaps the most disappointing in that the defense went missing. 13/16 players on this roster are upperclassmen including 5 seniors; at this point in their careers, I wouldn't think they'd need any coaching to find ways to win the games played to date. Someone needs to step up and decide this isn't how their last(s) year is going to go down.

Of course we all loved it when they caught lighting in a bottle late last season. After last season I wondered is this the start of something or an aberration, my heart hoped it was the start of something, my head thought it was more of a one off. I think he is an OK coach, but he and his staff just don't recruit at a high enough level to win consistently. The coaches kids helped to keep them somewhat competitive but now that they are gone I am not optimistic.

Well, talk about going out with a whimper! Basically handed 2! chances to win on a silver platter and that’s it? That is disappointing.

So Fire Tinkle!? Or do we let this season play out? At this point no choice. But no more extensions. None. Zero. Nada.

Actually he does. Thanks for playing. So now you are going to compare miller to tinkle? Stop just stop. No he doesn’t. 1982 was vacated. Try again. That doesn’t matter in real life, especially to those of us that saw it. And you know that btw!

Except so were the guys that beat us: Tulsa: Horne, leading game scorer, transfer from CU Griffin, 2nd leading game, transfer from UT-Arlington Idowu, 3rd leading game scorer, transfer from Illinois State etc. Iowa State: Kalscheur, leading game scorer, transfer from Minn Brockington, 2nd leading game scorer, transfer from Penn State Grill, 3rd leading game scorer, transfer from UNLV etc. Samford Glover, leading game scorer, transfer from Florida Campbell, 2nd leading scorer (tie), JC transfer Marshall, 2nd leading scorer, Transfer from Akron Kaifes, 4th leading game scorer, transfer from Loyola-Chicago etc I mean, seriously, these teams best players vs. us just arrived. These teams were not a situation of transfers joining a returning core largely intact like OSU. It's flat embarrassing.

Yeah those last few calls towards the end of the game were blatantly made with orange colored glasses by the ref’s.....and we still couldn’t get a win. Alatishe and Rand kept us in the game but our defense was as weak as I have seen it in a few years.....simple back door play gives Samford the lead at the end (Calloo of course watching it).

Was at the game, and what an awful display of Defense. When the game was on the line and you force an inbound with 2 second left and give up a lay in, that is just people not doing their jobs. With so many seniors, was hoping that players would show some leadership, but have seen nothing yet from some of our players who who made the run last year. Still a lot of season left, but I am a bit pessimistic at this point.
