A friend checked with the Athletic Department, and they advised that they had changed the routine prior to games last year during the covid limitations, and had not changed that schedule to start this year. Apparently, no thought had been given to how this would impact the playing of the anthem, but they heard from others as well. They will go back to the team standing respectfully on court is my understanding.
I, for one, am very, very glad to hear that. My apologies, Glove, for raising this topic again, but some on this board don't get to attend games in person; I thought they would want to know.

Was there a formal written response to him or was it verbal? Just curious.

So, did they go back to standing out on the floor for the anthem?
