The OSU Twitter site has profiled 14 student-athletes that are members of the official OSU recruiting class. The announced official class includes scholarship players only with preferred walk-on players not included. The announced players were:
Tyler Gough, Dallas Macias, Isaac Hill, Conor Pote, Logan Miller, Nelson Keljo, Aiden Jiminez, Easton Talt, Gavin Turley, Ely Kennell, Brandon Forrester, Jacob Krieg, Tyce Peterson, and Canon Reeder.
The demographic breakdown in this class is, Oregon - 4, California - 4, Arizona - 2, Washington - 1, Idaho - 1, Colorado - 1, and Alberta in Canada - 1
I believe the Beavers will add additional walk-on players, with OF Aiden Dougherty from Mt. Si HS in North Bend, WA. and RHP Gibson Marshall-Inman from Woodway HS in Edmonds, WA. Dougherty has been ranked as low as #7, and Marshall-Inman as low as #11 in the Washington Rankings. I checked on them yesterday and both are showing an OSU commitment. I anticipate there will be more walk-ons prior to next summer.
The possibility of a transfer is always a consideration as well - from a 4-Year school or Junior College following the 2022 season.
The Beavers had three earlier commitments sign elsewhere. RHP JR Ritchie from Bainbridge,WA. and OF Malakhi Knight from Marysville, WA. signed with UCLA and Catcher Max Ortega from Stockton, CA. signed with Cal State - Fullerton.
A solid class from top to bottom, excellent depth and balance, ranked nationally, and acclaimed by some to be the most talented class in the PAC-12 this cycle.
