Defense seems to be the only cohesive unit on the Uck team. I think some people can sense the condition of the team, but not your average Uck fan. They need a change soon or they are going to start slipping.

Agreed on the defense . They just got another 5 star today, from Texas. He will end up declining in value .
I keep seeing an offense that is being managed to ‘not lose’, rather than to win.
Mario pays little attention to the skill players on offense.. their QB situation is one always looking for the next big transfer. This has affected their wideouts - who come in highly rated , but never really develop any connection with the QB and are great at YAC , but not great at making the catch in the first place .
As a result the games are always close ( whether good or bad competition), and they get reluctant to throw, and become focused on the run and count on their QB to get the big gainers.

The odd thing to me is that the kid leaving is an OL...which is supposed to be right in Mario Crisco's wheelhouse.
