Well, he was horrible for the M's, with a sub-.450 OPS in his second year, and just one RBI in 102 PAs.
I did not know he struck out 178 times in 2018, and 167 this year.

3 home runs tonight for a guy that couldn’t crack the Mariners starting lineup Mariner Magic! An unusual number of former Mariner players hit their stride immediately after separation from the club.

A bigger question might be how the Dodgers have taken so many mediocre/bad players in their mid-late 20s and turned them into really good players/All-Stars?
Max Muncy and Justin Turner were both older than Turner when they got to the Dodgers and both are actually better players than Turner.
Turner showed up to his Dodgers awakening at age 26, Muncy was 27, and Turner 29. Muncy and Turner were scrap-heap/waiver guys. At least the Dodgers had to trade for Taylor.

Hope they can keep it up.
