5 of the top 6 and 6 of the top 10 teams are Pac-12. SR signs an amazing class, and it's still tough to keep up in this league. If everybody keeps up this pace, the battle in future years will come down to keeping the best players in the fold, and coaching.

Time will tell if ANY OF these names or 'ratings' actually pan out . I think that Rueck get's his recruits to improve and outperform ther incoming skills, Tara certainly does the same, as does Adia.
Close and Graves ' in my eyes' seem to rely more on just the ratings, and existing skills, to get the right lineup on the floor. If anything , I see theses recruits to stay about the same over time , with respect to their skills .
I am thinking about specific players and their improvement over time , specifically Kat, Hamelin, Gulich and Pivec come to mind .There are more, of course, but as with Tara - you can definitely see players progress as they go through the Rueck development .
Close not showing as much development for her teams !
Like Crystalballs , in football, Graves is a great recruiter and seems to land great players , but they, more or less maintain their skills and do not develop as you would expect !

I'm really confused as a diehard duck hater I see you as wrong. When Graves under coach? His top recruiting class made it to the final 4 and were the favorite to win the title the next year before covid shut it down. Three straight Pac-12 Championships. Then the under coached players 3 of them went in the first round. Every one improved each year. He had a bad year last year once Paopao was injured. Killed us with her lost to us twice with out her. I also hate the ducks but good coaches like graves worry me when they are at oregon because of all their Nike resources. Cristobal is in year 3 the jury is still out.

I think CSR is very satisfied with the 2022 group, especially how they seem to be hard-working, team-oriented players. Not a lot more to ask for. |

Won’t argue with anyone else’s opinion. Personally, as highly rated as the players were (SI, etc ), I can’t name one- or one area where the individuals games were actually IMPROVED during their time under Graves . Sabrina was 5+ when she arrived and all graves had her do was to focus on the triple double for recruiting and headline reasons ! The other women als stayed the same. I will have to go back and look at stats ! |

Dont waste your time looking up stats. As their team got more balanced more people shared the wealth. Sorry your glasses are so orange colored you dont see the problem looming in eugene a good coach and great recruiter. We want Westhead there. Look at our 5 stars how many are in the WNBA? None! So does that mean Scott is a bad coach? No but Graves has 3 first rounders that didn't improve at all in your eyes. One could say Katie and Taya would be in that group. Mik was a 5 star and couldn't make a WNBA team so she didn't improve? Your stretching with your hatred of the ducks but need to be well aware our greatest enemy is loaded in all areas

Actually all of their big 3 improved over the course of their careers, and the statistics back that up. There are 2 great WBB coaches in the state. I am a Beaver fan, but still try to be objective. |

Give the Beavers a Phil Knight and anyone can bring in great recruits and win once in awhile .
I still see no NATTYS in recognized sports after they have poured money into any and every legal and illegal activity that they pursue !
While you are on the sidelines admiring the ducks. I will stay right where I am. I HATE the ducks and am looking for the Beavs to take them out in every sport that exists.

There's a difference between hating the ducks and saying they suck when they've won 3 of the last 4 Pac-12 championships. Our team must really suck considering we haven't finished higher than 3rd in the last 4 years. |

Her scoring average dropped slightly her last year as did her 3 pt. % because she shot shot less due to more support around her. Her rebounds per game, assists per game (where she led the country) and her two point field goal percentage improved dramatically her senior year due to the development of an effective mid range pull up shot. As others have said, your glasses are quite orange. |
