I try not to get too caught up in recruiting, but when a kid says he tries to play with "untouchable swag," I like it. Plus (and this is petty of me I know), he had zero grammatical errors in the social media post announcing his commitment.

His highlight remind me of James. If he is anywhere close to that guy we have a winner.

Several WR in this class. You look at the guys they're grabbing, Kolby Taylor, Quintino Allen, Arex Flemmings. These guys are fast, quick, elusive...starting to look like a real spread team set of receivers. You can see what the staff is doing here. It kind of reminds me of a traditional group of UO receivers in terms of physical attributes. Put them in space and watch them gobble up yardage.

this guy is not only very small (5'5 & 137#'s) but not very fast according to his track times his hs pr in the 100 meters is 12.21 as a freshman. Although his highlight video looks pretty good it looks like a reach for this guy.

His teammate Jamire Calvin is a big time prospect who has interest in playing with Arex at the next level.

I'm wondering how 9th grade 100 meter times correlate to 100 meter times as a 12 grader that's actually done track each year?

Although his highlight video looks pretty good it looks like a reach for this guy. Arex ran the 40-yard dash at the Oakland (Nike Regional) camp (05/22/16) posting a 4.51 and a 4.5. He also posted a 3.9 shuttle time and a 10 ft broad jump, 122.3 inches to be exact. He's currently 5'7" 155#. If that 3.9 shuttle time is accurate, that's freaking fast/quick. I couldn't find the Oakland results, but between the Openings in Los Angeles and Seattle of this year only 1 kid managed to run it in under 4.0. Most wide receivers were running it in the low to mid 4s.
