They have allowed 7 runs in their 6 post season games. Crazy good pitching. I'm not sure if anyone can stop them, maybe TCU on the other side of the bracket?

Maybe the stat was first to open the CWS with back-to-back shutouts (except Pepperdine did such also in 1992). Back then they didn't have a "final series" however. Just a straight double-elimination all the way through. It was stated as actually 1 - 0 B2B shutouts. Meaning little offense and good pitching. Player of the Game: Tyler Buffett, Oklahoma State The Cowboys' junior righthander turned in a career performance on the sport's biggest stage. He held Arizona to scoreless on just three hits and two walks over eight innings, allowing just one runner to reach second base. He mixed three pitches very well and finished with six strikeouts, helping OSU become the first team ever to win back-to-back 1-0 games in the CWS.

another made up stat. First time a team wearing orange has eaten hamburgers two nights in a row and had shutouts in the first two games.. FIRST TIME EVER!! Those guys are from Oklahoma, they are in Omaha, so they better have eaten steak! Hard not to root for a team that wears orange and black. 1-0 shutouts are impressive, whenever they occur. Who can ever forget the 2007 Super Regional game against Michigan? One of the best I have ever seen at Goss.

But have they gone fishing in between games? Where was their fishing hole? Seems to me it was near the hotel.

The fishing pond was between the two bridges. It was next to the river, and I think if one staggered east from the brewery a few blocks one would find the pond. We parked under the north bridge and walked south.
