I'm curious about her recruitment. I don't recall ever seeing her mentioned on this board before she decommitted from UW and starting showing interest in OSU. She wasn't exactly a high profile recruit, I don't remember a cut list or final 5 or whatever. I'm wondering if she was highly interested in OSU prior to her original commitment, or only after. Might be coincidence, but with first committing to UW and then OSU it seems like she really wanted to be in the Northwest.

My guess is she got comfortable with the idea of playing in the Pac-12, so may have narrowed conference opponents after dumping UW. Jayda Noble at UW was a teammate on the Adidas USA Select Team, so that looks like what pulled her towards UW originally.
She was pretty high profile at #63 on ESPN's list, so I suspect OSU was plenty aware of her. But I too am curious who showed interest first between AJ and OSU.

Hopefully this doesn't make me a stalker. I scrolled thru her twitter posts. About the earliest thing is when she committed to UW at the end of March '20. So no top 5 list available. She was following or reposting stuff from von Oelhoffen not long after that, so there was some kind of connection between them.

I suspect A.J’s interest in OSU increased when Goforth announced her transfer to Arkansas.
