coach Casey joins an impressive list of coaches who have turned down that job. Florida, Louisville, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Virginia and TCU coaches have all said no thanks. may be because football is and always will be king in Austin. retiring coach Auggie Garrido tells a story of one day walking thru the hall ways of the athletic department and seeing one of his baseball national championship trophies being used to prop open the door to the football office.
