That wasn't the cost, I put a $$$ in there that shouldn't be there. I was referring to capacity of 10,000 to 12,000. Still think you could build a 10,000 capacity stadium for cheaper than $65M. Depends upon the design concept. If the grandstand is a pre-manufactured aluminum structure (like from Southern Bleacher), you could potentially build something for far cheaper. If it has to be a concrete, multi-deck thing with loges, boxes, amenities, etc., it is that expensive. I believe Hillsboro Stadium had $40M price tag but that was over 10 years ago. |

Without a true home stadium I think PSU's football program is doomed. I think it will cease to exist within 5 years. |
