Our 2025 recruits are just beginning their high school experience as freshman, but they are already highly accomplished players on the underclass 14u and 15u travel circuit. They have played full summer schedules on elite teams against the best competition available since the 6th grade.
Two of our '25 commits are teammates playing now for Washington powerhouse, Puyallup HS. As I recall, Logan Ice, Like Heimlich and other Beavers have come through the Puyallup program. Both kids are highly ranked nationally and are Top-50 players.
Mason Pike is 5-10, 165 and growing. Mason is high average switch hitter with some power, especially from the left side. A slick fielding shortstop with range and a strong arm. Has played with New Level Xtreme and Trosky National 15u during the summers. Mason Pike is the 14th best prospect nationally with Rawlings-Perfect game.
Gage Thompson is 6', 185 and can play all 3 OF positions. Gage has strong hands and a quick bat and drives the ball to all fields. A rangey defender with plenty of arm strength to play center or right field. Good speed. Gage Thompson is ranked the 49th best prospect in the nation with R-PG.
The third member of this class is the headliner, Catcher Xavier Neyens. I covered him seperately in a post below.
It's early, the rankings will change, players move up and down but for now the Beavers have 3 commitments fo 2025 and all 3 are TOP-50 players nationally.
Incredible.
