Rowley did his official this past weekend @ OSU. Several re-tweets with pics. Here's hoping he stays home!

F@ck. That really sucks. One day the best talent in the state will stay in the state, but it ain't today.

Walters & Lamer are still on the market. Given that we are 0-3 on Lamers, I'm not holding my breath on Daschle. Walters would be awesome, but I think he'll follow suit and look out of state. Simply a hunch and nothing more. When it's all said and done that 2019-2020 CV team is going to be an all-timer.. Glad we got a couple, but I'm greedy... If a couple of guys get homesick there's always the transfer portal. Whisenhunt - OSU C. Lamer - Michigan Cantu - Indiana Rowley - Wisconsin Eveland - OSU Rosado - Campbell Walters - TBD (being recruited by OSU, Oklahoma, Cornell, N. Colorado as far as I know) Lamer - TBD DJ Gillett -TBD Resko -TBD

It's kind of a gut punch. Keeping the best kids in state has been an issue. In the age of transfer portal, never burn any bridges, keep recruiting! Heard coach talking recently that it actually costs more scholly dollars for an in state kid vs out of state. Not sure on the whys, but it is perplexing.

I am definitely on the outside looking in on Walters, but I say again that there can’t be much money left for scholarships in his weight classes. Those weight classes have good guys coming in and will be a future strength. Add in the fact that a very good wrestling school has offered full everything including ALL living expenses. Cornell? Excellent education. Stanford? Tough to beat in any sport for education and some serious wrestling guys. The 3 OSUs have serious interest, and any of those 3 would jump out if the scholarship money even came close to some present offers. Walters has long been a JZ guy. He still likes the new coaches. JZ is a serious advisor, and he is not antiBeaver. I would not give up hope, but there is serious dollars and tremendous educational opportunities present.

I think if the program starts appearing in the top 10 or so, every year, our in State fortunes will change !

When I say that it sucks, its purely from an OSU perspective. I am happy for the kid, and hope he does great.
