The list is bittersweet. It's good news for the prospects but holds the possibility of disappointment for the fans.
Number 25 on the list is OF Gavin Turley and Number 32 on the list is RHP is Tyler Gough.
Both are Beaver commits.

Looking back a bit, BA list for 2021 (Top 100 HS) had Kmatz at 66 and Guerra at 83. Both are in Corvallis !
BA noted: Kmatz "is considered signable..." / Guerra "...price demand will likely lead him to OSU"

Sure, that's why I used the term "holds the possibility of disappointment".
Turley had a a shining summer of tournament play. He checks boxes at 6-2, 190 with warp speed at 6.29 and 100+ OF and exit Velo. He also won a home run derby and finished second at Perfect Games HRD with 8 out in 25 swings, some were 15 rows up in the LF bleachers at Petco Park. He's a 4-tool player with only the "hit" tool in question. Scouts will be watching his contact frequency/ BA and his K:PA ratio next spring.
Gough is a polished producd that sits on 92-93 with good secondary and exceptional command for a 17 year old. Scouts like his "pitchability", whatever that means. He may have transferred to J. Serra HS in San Juan Capistrano, which means he's in a dugout with several other draft prospects that all bleed UCLA Blue. That needs verification.

Both of these 2022 HS players rank ahead of the 2021 HS players that are now Beavs. So, realistically, it'd be great if either one or the other (Turley, Gough) went the college route. If both, it's a jackpot.
At any rate, it's a tip of the hat to MC and staff recruitment effort.
