Steffe is a 6-5 shooting guard who is number 10 SG in class and #65 overall. Saw article that he plans to visit Beavers (not mentioned when or if it would be official or unofficial) along with Colorado, Butler and OK St. He had a very good Nike Peach Jam this summer shooting 48% from field and 41% from 3.
His father, Matt Steffe, is interesting. He graduated from Quincy University (after a year at Air Force and then one at a JC), and then was an assistant there for two years. Moved on to Portland St as an assistant for a couple of years (1999-2001) before leaving to become a corporate head hunter and moving to Dallas area. In 2013, he and a guy he coached with at PSU founded D1 Basketball DFW — a basketball training academy.
