Over the last five games, Cadyn Grenier has hit 8/16 with three doubles, three home runs and a stolen base. Grenier did most of his damage in the first two games, going 5/8 with two doubles and all three home runs. After hitting a putrid .194 in July, Grenier has been hitting a more respectable .261 so far in August.

What do you think his future holds with the Baltimore organization? Anyone's guess. He's fortunate to have received a good signing bonus. If he can settle in at the higher 'arc' of his streaky hitting, he'll be MLB somewhere. If not, perhaps a season or two at AAA, an MLB cup of coffee, and then maybe coaching* at some level. Bishop Gorman HS head coach as a start?? *his techniques are suited for being an outstanding fielding instructor (private practice?) |
