Whatever his personal feelings, it’s very poor leadership on the head coach’s part to not be willing to undertake the same requirements as his team. He’s basically saying, “This is too dangerous for me but it’s fine for you”. Glad he’s not coaching at Oregon State University.

But, yeah, I'm thankful it's not OSU.

Am I a bad person for hoping WSU has to forfeit a game and lose that revenue sometime this season?

Hate to break up a good rant but OSU is not requiring vaccinations for all students (see the exemption clause in the final sentence below from OSU's official policy):
STUDENTS WILL NEED to complete ONE of the following steps to meet this requirement:
Confirm that you have been vaccinated by uploading your card to the patient portal. A vaccine received in another country will be acceptable as long as the vaccine received is approved by the country in which it was administered. Or... Confirm by completing a form (coming soon) if you have lost your card and upload it to the patient portal. Or... Claim a medical, non-medical, or religious exemption from the vaccination requirement by completing the appropriate form.
The same policy with an exemption clause is expected for OSU faculty once the negotiations with the union on this matter are completed. The coaching staff are faculty.

None of that changes my post.

Do you know if these same exemptions are allowed for other required vaccinations to attend or work at OSU? Based upon what I’ve read, the religious exemptions should be so small, effectively zero.

OSU only had one non-federal vaccination requirement for students under 26 - meningococcal disease. There are exemptions for this vaccination for students:
Medical exemptions
Immunization requirements may be waived for students with qualifying medical conditions such as pregnancy, diseases which lower resistance to infection, or use of certain medications.
Non-medical exemptions
Non-medical exemptions may be given for those with beliefs, practices or ethical values which prohibit immunizations. Be aware that you may be removed from classes if an outbreak occurs and you are not vaccinated against the disease.
Until now, there have been no vaccination requirements for work at OSU so exemptions were not needed.
My point is that WSU and OSU are approaching this the same way.

My understanding is that WSU isn’t allowing the non-medical, non-religious exemption. Wazzu tightened the loopholes. Except for their coach and faculty.

Not true, unless I’m misreading this. WSU students have NO choice or exemption. It’s vax or go online. Staff and expensive football coaches have options.

Vaccine requirements for students
WSU system-wide will require proof of the COVID‑19 vaccination for the 2021–2022 academic year for all students engaging in activities at a WSU campus or location.
Exemptions will be allowed for medical, religious, or personal reasons. Information about how to submit proof of vaccination and the process to request an exemption will be provided in the coming months.

That was rescinded recently. Barely in enough time for students to get the two shots. The website isn't current.
