As far as the "interview" itself, it was interesting but not overly informative if you wanted to learn anything new about the team....Coach Huth is upbeat and enthusiastic, so that's good - but hard to imagine she would be otherwise in her first month on the job....
Her highest praise in this interview went to Talia, and she pretty much said she has the skills to be a pro. She said that about no one else on the roster, so not sure if that means anything or not....
She spoke enthusiastically about Greta and Jelena, but more in a rah-rah way than in a specific, basketball-skill kind of way....She mentioned that Jelena has been back in Corvallis for about one week and that she carries herself like a pro - focussed and dedicated.
At any rate, I hope everyone gives it a listen. Ron asks direct, to the point, questions, which many interviewers nowadays don't, so that's a definite plus. Huth seems like a great addition to the program and she is obviously a big fan of Coach Rueck and the way he runs things.....
She was upbeat about the two incoming frosh and indicated that she thinks AJ has the makings of an excellent defensive player. She claimed that Greta has perfect shooting form and that's gotta be a good sign....All in all, a fun listen for OSU WBB junkies on a slow, smoky August day.....
