If this news doesn't deserve it's own dedicated thread, nothing does.

Amazing, just thinking how many 10's she's going to rack up in Pac 12 competition. Way to go Jade!

That's really, really good to hear. Feels like we're all a part of it, doesn't it?

Gymnastics families will spare no expense in supporting their young athlete's dreams. This includes.relocating to another State to work out at the best gym with the best reputation and winningest records. This 'could be' the start of a pipeline to Oregon and eventually OSU . Obviously it is very early, and she was originally from Arizona - but , we may see a slow crawl begin ! Hope so, because the coaching and support at OSU has been top notch in spite of not getting Olympic level talent ( as other schools have ) !

I don't know Suni Lee's (did I spell that correctly?) plans regarding college, but consider this: Jade was the #3 American in the team event, the #8 overall (and #2 American) in the individual all around, and, of course, the #1 in the floor exercise. With the possible exception of Ms Lee, she can lay claim to being the top college gymnast in America, and she has 4 years of eligibility (I assume). This has got to be a big, big boost for recruiting. I wonder if plans include her father (her only coach ever) joining the staff with the idea of perhaps eventually taking over. And..... I hate to mention this, but I wonder what she'll wind up earning from the NIL thing.

I just got a chance to watch her performance, wow is she ever strong. Very powerful and to think she has more to give. A definite chance that a beaver will perform the first triple double.

Suni's coach's twin brother is the coach at Auburn. Kaitlyn Yanish is from Arizona as is Kayla Bird. That's a good start to that pipeline.
