Andrew Susac hit about .200 for the Knights. So sometimes poor hitters in the WCL are good hitters in college ball. Andrew Susac played for the Knights straight out of high school and was terrible at hitting righties out of the stretch. Susac showed a lot of power though. Susac hit .225 and came on as the season progressed. Plus, when he hit it, he tended to hit it hard. Susac hit .260 his freshman year and .290 at Falmouth, where he finished eighth in batting average in the Cape Cod League. (Kolten Wong finished third.) Susac hit .298 his sophomore year and then was drafted with the 86th overall pick in 2011 as a draft-eligible sophomore.
