Since many nice campgrounds, that are fairly close to Surprise AZ, allow reservations 6 months 'out', my interest begins rising in late July. Bingo! I stumbled on this just now on College Baseball Insider (the 2022 'Open Dates' tab):
Feb 18-20 "Oregon State: looking for one more team to join us in Surprise, AZ for our annual tournament at Surprise Stadium. Please contact Director of Operations, Jake Rodriguez at (916)753-9292 or by e-mail jake.rodriguez@oregonstate.edu. (posted 4/16)"
Surprise Stadium D-1 BB games nearly always conclude the day of (or day before) MLB Spring Training begins.
As of now the message for the Texas Rangers and KC Royals (the 2 teams that move into Surprise Stadium after the D-1 games) reads "Texas Rangers 2022 spring training schedule has not been released. Typically schedules are released near the end of August, before the Labor Day weekend." I haven't much lately on the possible 2022 Baseball Strike (lotsa talk back in February 2021 about it being quite possible, at the start of 2022 Spring Training)

I have not seen anything since. Maybe things have improved since? Most of what I have heard since is how the late draft has messed up pretty much everything in ways that nobody was really contemplating. It looks like JRod should just invite Kentucky, since the Wildcats are looking to play someone on the road that weekend anyway.

2021 was Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Auburn and Baylor.
2020 was Texas Tech, Houston, Tennessee and Stanford.

2022 Round Rock will be the Arkansas Razorbacks, Stanford Cardinal, Indiana Hoosiers, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. No Beavs.

Collegiate Classic in Surprise 2/18 - 2/20 OSU - Gonzaga - St. Marys - New Mexico As posted earlier, 3 game series with Xavier in Surprise following the Classic. (Scottsdale speculation was incorrect).
Great trip for the team and a nice winter break for America's best college baseball fans.
GO BEAVS!

My guess is there's not going to be any spring training in February because the new CBA won't be signed. Billionaires and millionaires fighting, and killing their sport.

Texas Rangers and KC Royals both have their first spring training game on Feb 26th. So I don't know if we can play prior to their practices after the 26th or if the Major teams monopolize the main stadium field. Any Ideas?

Likely will be an early morning game om the 26th. Both teams can get an early start home.
(games vs Xavier will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Surprise Stadium website has posted the 2022 game/ticket information for February. www.surprisestadium.com/events/college-baseballOSU opens 2/18 Friday against St. Mary's at NOON. Sat. & Sun. games (2/19-20) are also at noon (New Mexico & then Gonzaga). Monday game (2/21) against St. Mary's at 1 pm. Also listed are the 3 games against Xavier (Feb. 24-26). Ticket prices are in the $15-$20 per game basis...with a Sanderson Baseball Classic Pass (only the 2/18-21 games?...not Xavier, I assume) at $80 (or $60)... a little confusing on website. Seating is classified as "infield" / "outfield" and "upper deck". In the past I believe it's just been 'open' seating. I've always bought tickets on a game-by-game walk-up basis. Noon games are great if that weekend is seasonably warm. If it's a cool spell...not so much. At least OSU has no 5 pm games, which are tough if weather is a bit cool. 2 out of 4 games are against St. Mary's. Looks like the Gael's best returning (P) is Junior, Sam Bower. 14 starts last season with a 0.93 WHIP. The Gaels had a 25-26 record in 2021.

New Mexico, whom the Beavs will play 2/19/22, was 16-25 in 2021. Beavers beat them twice in 2021 in Surprise.
NM had their 'best' pitcher and 'best' position player drafted after the 2021 season (Armbruester and Castillo). NM is 103-116 in the past 5 seasons.
Makes me wish that the Sanderson Ford (so-called) "Classic" gave us fan a stronger lineup than we typically get to see.
How about one of the proven programs from the from Big West? Of course most Big West schools (located in the temperate zone) don't really need to come to Phoenix in February.
My point is: The Surprise 'tournament' could be (but isn't) a premier college baseball season opener.
