Unfortunately, for the ignorant, Louis Pasteur's contributions really were in vain...
But in this day and age, there is no excuse for willful and aggressive ignorance that could easily hurt others. Rolovich works at a public institution and also supervises the welfare of many of its students. WSU should censure and suspend him.

Maybe the dude had an anaphylactic reaction to another vaccine??? A smart person would have just said this.

All it took was her significant other testing positive the day of her daughter's bridal shower and then realizing they just torpedoed her daughter's day and could put a wedding in jeopardy. Turns out crossfit and riding bikes wasn't the cure all. He's in bad shape, 14 days and counting. aaaaaand she's vaxxed now.

“Honestly, the way the Republican party has spun the virus and the vaccine has been obscene, and clearly shows that the party lacks ethical leaders who are able to think about the good of the country, rather than just opposing whatever the other side says. In a global pandemic, there should be no partisan politics.”
I don’t think the Republicans have a monopoly on spin. Remember Biden saying he had doubts about Trumps vaccine? Remember Kamala saying the same thing? Fauci saying masks didn’t work until he changed his mind, the lab leak theory being misinformation that should be suppressed, Texas was Neanderthal for opening? None of the chuckle heads have you or your families best interest at heart. If you trust that crowd you will be disappointed.

It's PHI....now I guess he's a high profile figure at a public institution so things aren't the same as they are for you and me, but essentially he could say nothing and just do it remotely

If he doesn't want to get vaccine that's his choice.. just hope he's good with it when WSU has to forfeit games due to COVID

I know Libs who didn't follow "shut down" protocol This is the problem. We want everything to be all or nothing......if u didn't get the vax u must surely be an idiot redneck, who is also most certainly a racist.....I'm just sick of all the politics, and stereotypes

A smart person would have just said this. I mean I guess, but again, it's really his business. There's a thing called HIPAA, which we aggressively enforce.....until we dont HIPPA has nothing to do with this. HIPPA prohibits others from disclosing your medical condition without your consent. It most certainly does not prevent Rolovich from disclosing his own medical condition, should he wish to do so. Vice-president Harris said she would not trust Trump's word on the vaccine, but she would trust the medical professionals. As soon as the medical professionals deemed the vaccination was safe, she got vaccinated. So did Biden. So did Trump.

He can choose to not do it and the University can choose to move on from him. It's a free country.....kinda. My take on it is he seems crazy to jeopardize his multi-million dollar contract over this....to each his own
