Rumor says Ice (and of course Eckert) will sign. Morrison will not. Others should not.

Trevor could use some time to put on some more weight. Compared to his Freshman year he is "Arnold". He still looks thin to me. I'm sure that being at OS he will get better nutrition than out in the bushes where it's left up to the player
Come back Shane ....errr Trevor

The Statesman guy thinks it will be Ice, Eckert, Pomeroy and Morrison for whatever that is worth.

On the MLB.com prospect watch they are listed as:
#108 Ice #116 Morrison
with about 8-9 Catchers listed above Ice including the Cal guy. I still hope he stays. I want one more year of #YouDontRunOnIce

There will be over 100 catchers selected... Ice probably falls near where the kid from OU did last year, early round 4/pick value in $550-620k range... bonus $ will depend on the organization/how they spend their dollars for the value of draft choices they make. That being said... no way he turns down mid 6 figures with return to schooling paid for. Morrison is tricky. You never know how teams put a value on infielders... projecting to a completely different position can effect where a team with needs takes him. Personally I see #116 way too high... more likely a Rd 6 pick/#160+ ? But pick values are still in high $200k... yet what players get as bonus $ varies widely... The Berg kid from UCLA was Rd 6/173 with pick valued at $282k... but got a of bonus $50k! Same happened to RF from Cal. While several picks below The Marlins highly valued a HS catcher with a bonus of $500k. The pitchers, well it's a meat market. You can scroll through the 2015 results for pages of just pitchers... who knows how many (around 560+ I was told once) of the 1215 total taken were pitchers. But, there are bonuses of $100k+ down into Rd 10! If you have been at OSU, not getting many innings, aren't getting the "love" you think you deserve and get drafted with $50k+ bonus and school paid for if you want to come back most will go. Pragmatic thinkers know they are unlikely MLB types, probably not going to improve their stock that much, can pocket a sure $50-100k, get paid to develop/pitch, then move on with their life/go back to school. Most of us would have taken that deal as a 20-21 y/o, worked a possible dead end job for the bonus and moved on. LOL

“Pro baseball has been a goal of mine, a dream of mine,” said Ice, a graduate of Rogers High in Puyallup, Washington. “Playing in the big leagues has always been my ultimate goal, so to have that opportunity hopefully happen is a dream come true.”
Unfortunately for us, that sounds like someone who is ready to sign.

I totally get where you and others come from, he's a player we want back especially after a season like this. BUT, look at it "glass half full", OSU and it's support community helped develop and support a young man/men on to help fulfill their ultimate dream/fantasy/goal... AND you got to go along for part of the ride. Fortunately, for us we get to be a small part of this and have a such a program that these type of young men want to matriculate to... and seem so enamored they always seem to return and support the school and program. Full circle... it's all you can ask for.

Was more in response to the previous poster stating they hoped he'd stay - doesn't look very promising. Next man up and good luck to Logan.

Get him some back up so he doesn't have to catch every inning. Fresh at the end of the year ready to rock & roll in the playoffs

Logan goes in the 2nd round. Kendall Rogers @kendallrogersd1 I’ve been pretty bullish on @beaver _Baseball’s Logan Ice. Big-time leader, good bat, solid behind the plate. Quality pick for @indians
