Didn't realize Hudson Davis was a Cadet - he and Lamer. They must be young for their grade.
There are a few Idaho kids worth watching too... Former OSU 4 year starter Nate Navarro has a son wrestling at 100 pounds - Dedrick Navarro. Keep an eye on Carson Exferd at 113 as well.

Interesting match in the round of 16. Walters versus Ruchti. Neither guy has wrestled a whole lot of freestyle, but both have been impressive so far.

If you go to the Flo Arena main page the Cadet World tournament is listed...Rowley made the semi finals of 80kg FS. He took out Russia in his first match.

Some good wrestling is going to happen today - looking forward to a Ruchti vs Walters match if it happens - could happen on the backside as well.
Nash is going 132 - I am guessing he couldn't make it down since he was initially listed at 126. No Charlie Evans unless I missed it - Wanted to see how he would do on a bigger platform. Navarro made the semis - now in consolation along with Gage Singleton. They could meet up as well.

Yeah - Deblaere has won 6 straight - needs 2 more wins - massive bracket
Gramball won 5 straight before being eliminated
Romney will be a tough match for Whisenhunt
Navarro vs Singelton for 3rd in Cadet - they have met before - good to see 2 NW guys - Nash didn't fair as well at 132.
Minutes away from Walters vs Ruchti

Walters wins 10-0....sheesh I hope he's on our radar too. I'm sure OSU is talking to him. He's a tough kid and big for his weight cutting down. He may be putting himself on a lot of radars. Would be interesting to see what this match looks like in folk style. Rowley just made the gold medal match at 80kg with a tech. |
