Baseball America ranks four Beaver players on the rankings for next months amateur baseball draft. BA projects the Top-500 college and prep prospects in the rankings. The OSU roster players being projected are:
# 134 (early 5th round) Kevin Abel
# 153 (late 5th round) Will Frisch
# 282 (early 10th round) Chase Watkins
# 391 (late 13th round) Troy Claunch
* Rankings will vary, sometimes wildly from site to site.

It’ll be interesting to see what Frisch decides to do. A 5th round grade is pretty good, but he’s got the type of stuff that if he comes back and has a big 2022 season (most likely as a starter). He could be a first or second round guy. |

Where's the undefeated guy, who beat UO, UCLA, ASU, Stanford (4 Regional teams) and should have beat UA. He also stands 6' 7", come on Baseball America, Pffff! |

He really had only one game, not including the rehab start, where he had command issues, and it is usually the release point command issues that hurt tall guys. Even in the game where his fastball command deserted him, he competed well with his secondary stuff. Odd. |
