My hunch is Arizona gets it done. F*** the $EC.

I think Vandy gets it done. They've got two DOMINANT top line pitchers who are going to be tough to beat.
If not Vandy, I think the Cats have as good of shot as anyone. From what I saw in the Supers, they have an explosive offense. Even though TD holds balls, most of the ones they hit are out of any park.

I don't really care but I'll say Miss State. I kinda have a soft spot for em since '18. Their fans were cool.

Should be an interesting series. I'll be pulling for Stanford to win it all, but in all honesty, there's too much yard work to do this time of the year to sit and watch other teams in the CWS.

What a crapshoot. I think Vandy because of the two front line starters but you really have to rely on your bullpen if that doesn't work out (see 2018 CWS). I'd like for it to be Stanford cuz, you know, PAC and all.

If Vandy can win through 2 with Rocker and Lighter I like them. Next… Tennessee. I’ll root for Stanford…. UA can go fishin …..

#2 Vanderbilt won the College World Series in 2019. Vanderbilt is the first #2-seed to win the bottom half of the bracket since #2 Florida in 2011. Between 2012 and 2018, the #3-seed or the #6-seed spots represented the bottom half of the College World Series every year.
#2 Florida won the bottom half of the College World Series in 2011, but lost the College World Series Championship Series to #4 South Carolina. Before that, the previous five winners also came out of the #3-seed or the #6-seed spots.
Since 2006, 12 of the 14 previous winners of the bottom half of the bracket came out of either the #3 or #6 spots. 7 times that winning team came out of the #3-seed spot and 5 times out of the #6-seed spot. The two winners that did not come out of the #3-seed or #6-seed was the #2 overall seed, which went 1-1 in the Championship Series.
In the previous eight College World Series, the top half has been won by the #1-, #4-, #5- and #8 seed exactly twice each. Each won exactly one Championship except the #4-seed. The #4-seed spot, though, won the two College World Series before that.
Since the College World Series moved to T.D. Ameritrade, the #3-seed has won three Championships. Each of the other seed spots has won a National Championship, except the #7-seed spot.
The last #7-seed to win the bottom half of the bracket was Florida, which lost the College World Series to Texas, coming out of the #5-seed spot. The #7-seed spot last won the College World Series in 2004.
