Holy crap that infield looks rough. I was just thinking that. Elks better have a good team medical plan, gonna be lots of bad-hop grounders to the face. That infield has always been terrible. |

After having been to the field, I can tell you that the ones we used to build as kids were better, From the 3" lip between the dirt around home plate and the infield grass (and on the infield/outfield boundaries), to the valleys that are the basepaths (one bunt down the third base line rolled foul, hit the wall on the foul side and caromed 90 degrees into fair territory). It's about a 2% uphill grade from home to first, and they could really use some weed and feed, especially around the mound. The outfield is ok, but wow that infield.
