Good club. Give DBU their due. Frankly I’d rather see them in Omaha than UVA…… But it’s UVA 4-0. UVA‘s fans left a bad impression on me when we played them a few years ago in the NCAA regionals. They came across as bunch of entitled twits. |

A couple weird plays in the game today. Dbu with a guy on, UVA catcher can’t handle the ball, kicks back into the batters box, DB “accidentally” kicks the ball backward toward the dugout. Obvious on replay, officials order runner back to first.
Later, obstructing the base path called at first on a pickoff play when UVA runner can’t get his hand back to the back. Actually gets cleated hard. Ouch! After that he used the funny mitten deal several Beavers use.

Speaking of long ball ....10 of em so far in Tenn v LSU. Looks like Tenn is gonna punch their ticket to Omaha
