first up Virginia vs William & Mary
after 2 W&M up on the Hoos 3-0 2nd time through the order and Va getting W&M figured out. 3-3 after 3.5
W&M gets out of a bases loaded jam in T7 with a Kc. Then comes up and hits a bomb to LF. UVA on the ropes. W&M up 5-4
Down go the Hoos. UVA defending CWS champs can't get out of their Regional. W&M meet East Carolina in Regional final
Looks like UW gets a bit of a break in the elimination bracket. Xavier vs UCSB in the first game. Then loser would double back to play the huskies. UW just has the one game. so they will be rested

Next up Utes vs Tulane
no score B1. utes are the home team here
friggin ESPN. They have lots of commercials on the stream. But when it comes gametime....nada (for me). plus they cut away from the last out in the UVA game. Just...blank screen as UVA had a little something going

None of the hosts that have lost their Regionals were National Seeds, but it is still shocking to see three go down already. Virginia had the lowest RPI (17) of any host.
Miami is certainly vulnerable. I'm hoping for a LB State rematch later today.

So far
Utah goes out. Losing 4-1 to Tulane Boston College controls that bracket
ASU wins 6-3 over Gonzaga. Coming out of the loser side to face TCU
Fullerton out.
Gauchos on top of Xavier 5-4 in the 9th. Loser plays UW on the loser side. UCSB would control that bracket
Az losing late to 1 seed La Lafayette. But only first loss for Az

Miami is certainly vulnerable. I'm hoping for a LB State rematch later today. Last year, three non-national seed hosts were eliminated in the first three games. Two more hosts were eliminated before the regionals were over, including #1 overall UCLA. We are about where we were last year. Vanderbilt going down is a little more understandable than UCSB's implosion last year. Virginia, as defending national champions, seemed a logical host choice, especially because they did not host last year, having to survive the Lake Elsinore Regional. The team that should not have hosted that did was Vanderbilt. The only team that Vandy beat with a pulse was South Carolina at home. Vanderbilt's non-conference schedule was 154th.

Well, after editing and deleting, this thread is now locked. I really doubt Wilky meant any true malice with his post, but it just became a bitter internet argument in a thread supposedly about elimination Sunday. Now that it is elimination Monday, you can all drop it.
P.S. I hate editing or deleting things. Never been my way on message boreds. Carry on.
P.P.S Go Beavs.
