I've had opportunity to speak with a number of people who faced various types of abuse as kids. Some of the worst are the ones where they were the disfavored child and the favored child(ren) would have no part in hearing that one (or more) of the kids in the same house was/were being abused. It seemed like it was absolutely inconceivable to the favored child(ren). Honestly, I had a tough time believing it until I read some child psychology material that said it is not that uncommon.
Horrible. Maybe Michigan should put Schembechler's statue with Paterno's. |

What kind of "leader of men" uses a closed fist on a 10 year old? And enables a sick SOB?
