Can you imagine the shellacking Canham would be getting from all corners if he had 1st and 2nd with no outs and didn't bunt, resulting in a double play....TWICE?!? (And yes, I would be one of them...dumb not to bunt both times there....) Glad the other team has to deal with that right now, heh.... I get being upset the first time. Stupid. I agree. But you want your best player to bunt down 5-0 in the third? I mean, if Mitchy Slick does that ever, I start a letter writing campaign to get him fired. |

These commentators are definitely the Z team. Michael Gretler was a key member of the 2018 team, but the "heart and soul?" Uh, not even close. I can forgive some embellishment on a team's history for narrative purposes. However, I shook my head that this guy just said playing left or right field isn't that big of a difference, but going from a corner outfield position to CF was way different. I just know that when I was in high school, I could play right or center just fine, but I HATED left. Could never get a good read off the bat. Maybe they should have prefaced it with, "for highly skilled players..." |

I have the game on mute while I'm calling into a meeting at work, so I'm not aware of who's up or the order. But I don't buy the 'being down 5-0' argument. It's only the 3rd inning, and you need runs. You're not going to tie the game on this batter, so maximize the chances for what you can get. If you get a single and score 2 runs with only 1 out, you've created all the momentum in the world. |

He's super consistent but neither team's hitters want to admit it and swing up there....definitely high but he's established it, both teams should figure it out
